Debugging Particle Properties

The debugging section can be used to easily visualize particle properties such as size, speed and heading. The more complex the effect you're creating, the more you'll love this feature.

Note:
Debug gizmos are part of emitter gizmo drawing, so their visibility depends on the gizmo controls in the Toolbar

  • Enable - turn debugger gizmos on or off for this emitter
  • Rate - determines the rate of visualization. A value of 0.1 will draw a gizmo each 10th particle, a value of 1 will draw a gizmo for every particle
  • Options - enable/disable gizmo for a particular particle property. Depending on the color of your effect you might want to change the gizmo color.
Note:
The debug gizmo colors are emitter properties, thus they will be saved with them.
